Why a continental research gateway
Research about African businesses, institutions and communities is produced every year across dozens of countries — yet a large share of it is never indexed anywhere a researcher outside the originating university would think to look. A literature review on West African SMEs, East African digital adoption, or Central African monetary policy often turns up more material written from outside the continent than from within it, simply because the local work was never made discoverable.
This page is where that changes, one country at a time. Rather than list countries we have no research for, we build this gateway honestly: a country gets its own research hub once there is real, published work to organise — not before. Cameroon is first, because it’s where this platform’s publication library currently sits. As research from other African countries is published or indexed here, this page grows to connect it.
